Final Portfolio

Process: All of my designs were created earlier in the course, so I just needed to create a way to display them in a slideshow.  Using Photoshop, I added the brick wall background and then inserted a simple black frame with white matte. I wanted my slide show to look like an art gallery I went to in New York several years ago.  After inserting my projects into the picture frame, I gave each one a drop shadow to create the illusion of the matting around the picture.  I then saved each completed design into a jpeg and inserted them into Powerpoint to create my slide show.  Once my slide show was complete, I uploaded the file to slideshare.net so I could embed and share it online. I created this portfolio to display my designs for other classmates to view.  I will also use this portfolio to demonstrate my skills and knowledge to future employers.

Critique: I left feedback for Megan Luna and Gustav Maia.  I received feedback from Mary Ann McAlister, Mallory Bohn and Sister VanSistine.  I was advised to make the brick background more consistent so the slides didn’t seem to jump around on the screen when flipping through them.  I also changed the color and case of my name on the opening and closing slides to match the titles throughout the slides.
